Blaine Warren Advertising is a collection of experts, people who enjoy crafting the work rather than delegating it. We don't believe in outsourcing or subcontracting to part-time players who don't figure in to the complete picture. At Blaine Warren, you don't just pay to consult with the pros, you get them doing what they love to do - which is originating and executing great ideas.
Our team:
Sterling Martell
Creative Director Partner, Blaine Warren Advertising Mr. Martell's creative vision is the basis upon which Blaine Warren Advertising was founded, and that vision has developed through years of experience. In 1978 he began his career in movie and television production at Universal Studios in Hollywood and New York City. In 1987, Mr. Martell became president and head of production at Sunrise Studios, formerly the Osmond Studios, in Orem, Utah. During this time, productions included the movies Wait Until Spring, Bandini with Francis Ford Coppola, Faye Dunaway and Joe Mantegna; It Nearly Wasn't Christmas with Charles Durning; Desperate Hours with Mickey Rourke; and The Marie Osmond Christmas Special. In 1989, he migrated to commercial and corporate film projects, serving as producer and director for videos about such well-known resorts as Grand Targhee, Big Sky, Snowbird, Park City, and a one-hour special about the winter wonders of Yellowstone National Park. Gillham Advertising, the oldest ad agency west of the Mississippi, asked Mr. Martell to produce a series of spots for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He not only produced the spots, he grew the account and, in 1993, bought the company, which developed into a full service advertising agency specializing in interactive and internet applications, national media placement and recruitment. His client list expanded to include GMC, Pontiac, Disney, Olive Garden and J.B. Hunt Transportation. In 1998, Mr. Martell moved Gillham to Las Vegas and folded it into Heftel Media. This agency branded The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Other accounts included INVESCO, Price Waterhouse Cooper, TMP World Wide, Ford Motor Company and C2K, the largest showroom in Nevada. Mr. Martell expanded Heftel Media to include an edit bay and sound stage, which gave the agency the capability of taking a project from concept to air. In 2001, Mr. Martell sold his interest in Heftel Media and formed Blaine Warren Advertising, which is the agency of record for the Air Force Reserve. He also produces spots for Dentsu, the world's largest advertising agency; Nordica; Panasonic and Nestle of Japan.
Kristen Whiteley
Account Manager Ms. Whiteley is responsible for business development for Blaine Warren Advertising. She moved into this position after serving as the Account Manager for the Air Force Reserve, and in that capacity she was responsible for creating timelines and budgets, client communications, coordinating interaction between media services and the creative department and seeing all projects through to completion. Her forte is organization, and she uses that talent often as she creates proposals, tracks budgets, solicits bids, oversees quality of production and ensures on-time delivery of all materials for this $15 million account. Ms. Whiteley was invited to be one of the original three employees of Schadler Kramer Group, which now has more than 100 employees. As an account executive, she oversaw the MGM Grand and New York, New York casino accounts, and handled all phases of their advertising and promotion campaigns. She was particularly involved with the MGM Grand Garden Arena, a large entertainment complex that hosts everything from championship fights to Cher's final concert. It was her responsibility to meet with event promoters and develop a theme and advertising/promotion plan based on anticipated audience demographics. She built budgets, then worked with writers and artists to create the materials and with casino managers to implement the programs. Executing these plans involved everything from conducting "brainstorming" sessions to press checks to placing insertion orders to post-event evaluation sessions. Whiteley came to Blaine Warren from DigiStock, a group of companies that builds libraries of stock photography and sells the rights to use these to other companies. Using a variety of computer systems, she not only managed all aspects of the print, direct mail and e-mail campaigns, but she searched for new sources of photography. In that effort, Ms. Whiteley persuaded a major food company to place its product "beauty" shots in the DigiStock library. While working at DigiStock, Ms. Whiteley arranged her schedule to enable her to spend time with her two small children, the primary reason she left the Schadler Kramer Group. Ms. Whiteley began her ten-plus years in account services as an account coordinator with the Mirage Resorts, and in this capacity she organized all print, photography and video materials and assisted the vice president in producing the company's annual report, which involved organizing and amassing the financials and editorial content and photographs, keeping track of changes and seeing the project through the printing and distribution processes. At this time, the Mirage was owned by noted casino owner Mr. Steve Wynn, and when he built the Bellagio, Ms. Whiteley participated in the opening of this landmark hotel. She assisted in the development of and execution of all aspects of the advertising plan for this event.
Michael Sabatier
Chief Operating Officer Partner, Blaine Warren Advertising Mr. Sabatier is responsible for all financial operations and oversight of all physical facilities and personnel. Previously, he worked with Mr. Martell as vice president and office manager of Heftel Media, the agency that branded The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. At this time, he also served as the construction administrator for the Venetian's C2K showroom, and saw this project through compliance issues with Clark County, Nevada. Mr. Sabatier earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He practiced in Beverly Hills, specializing in dance injuries and was the chiropractic consultant to the Joffrey Ballet, among others. He also served as a United States Marine Corps officer in Vietnam, where he was an artillery forward observer.
Michael Speciale
Media Director Mr. Speciale is known for his ability to spot a media deal and build imaginative platforms for the creative department. While working on the Air Force Reserve (AFR) account, he realized cost savings by placing a minimum number of media buys to cover a 12-month period and negotiated major buys in key markets. He is also responsible for research into branding the AFR and how that research can be applied to targeting results. Mr. Speciale came to Las Vegas after spending 30 years in the New York advertising scene. He was vice president and group media director for the Mediacom unit of Grey Global Group. He generated cumulative billings in excess of $125 million and negotiated annual savings of more than $10 million for his clients. Mr. Speciale also owned and operated a marketing communications company specializing in consumer and business-to-business clients. He is an author and frequent lecturer and keynote speaker. He also taught advertising, marketing and media planning at the University of Rhode Island, and lectured at Bryant College and the University of Hartford.
Milo Duffin
Art Director What was once the domain of the graphic artist is now shared with e-designers and web architects and programmers. This is the world of Mr. Duffin, who sets the “look” of various campaigns. He came to Blaine Warren with the experience of being part of a full-service ad agency, an internet streaming company and a direct response marketing company. In addition to working on business-to-business and gaming accounts, he has entertainment experience, having created and produced the stage design for ZZ Top. Mr. Duffin has a winning history, having picked up seven Addy awards for his creations ranging from logos to the graphic look of an outdoor bus shelter. Micki McKibbin
PSA and Get One Manager Since joining Blaine Warren, Ms. McKibbin has created a unique approach not only to the distribution of Public Service Announcements, but also the monitoring, tracking and reporting data for these spots. This has evolved into a sophisticated reporting system that is accessible to all Air Force Reserve recruiters through the internet. Currently, her program is updated weekly with data that can be broken down geographically, demographically, by stations and networks and dollar value. She is in the process of expanding what is now a television and radio program to print and outdoor. This is the first system with such detail available for public service announcements. Ms. McKibbin also manages the Get One program, an internet-based program through which active duty reservists can recommend interested parties to the Air Force Reserve. For these leads, reservists are awarded a series of commemorative coins, a prestigious sign of recognition in the military. This program will let reservists track the progress of the names they submit from leads to accessions online. Ms. McKibbin oversees the input side of the equation, the award recording and distribution system and the reporting process. Both the PSA and Get One programs are unique to Blaine Warren Advertising, and have been driven by Ms. McKibbin. During the last ten years, Ms. McKibbin has worked in media, marketing and advertising for companies such as Clear Channel, Cox Cable, Sinclair Broadcasting, Zimmerman Advertising, Lake Las Vegas Resorts and Sunrise Colony Developers.

On these projects, she worked as the agency liaison between Senior Recruiters, Blaine Warren and a variety of vendors. Ms.Harrington played a vital role in the promotional programs of the Air Force Reserve, which sponsors air teams and a racing program. VOIP expands the Qualification Center concept from a physical location in Warner-Robbins, GA, and Las Vegas, NV, to include a virtual phone center as well, with retired Recruiters answering calls from their homes all over the country.
